An all time favourite picture of mine taken some time ago I think with a Nikon compact
E4800 I used to have. I have not seen one of these bugs for some time but it was one that got me on the road to insect photography which is so diverse. It goes to show that you can get some great pictures with a straightforward digital compact. I don't think I would give up my DSLR though.
