Leaf-cutter bee at rest (Megachile centuncularis) Posted by Peter P Smith on May 24, 2012 Get link Facebook X Pinterest Email Other Apps A beautiful little bee which bites semicircular bits off leaves from around garden plants and hedges. They then carry them off to make cell linings. It is strange to watch them fly off with a lump of leaf in the jaws. Taken with Canon 1000D and Canon 100mm f2.8 macro lens and Marumi ringflash Comments
