Chanterelle (Cantharellus cibarius)

Here is a much sought-after fungi as it is edible and a lot of them are picked and sold accordingly. I find the huge variety of fungi around is incredible and can be so difficult to name them accurately. This one however is so popular and distinct from others.

I took this picture some time ago and before I had a ring flash so it is a bit flashed out with harsh shadows. This is how we learn however.
