Hummingbird Hawkmoth feeding (Macroglossum stellatarum)

This is the Hummingbird Hawkmoth which when seen is pretty spectacular. Taking a picture however is not so easy as they do not stay still for too long and not long enough for auto-focus to work unless you are really lucky. I was lucky to catch one stationary on a bush as well so that the size can be seen as it is quite a big moth.
This picture was taken in Menorca a mile or so from Santa Thomas on the south side of the island. At the same location there was also a few Carpenter Bees which I will show next.

Canon 600D, Canon 100mm F2.8 macro lense.
