Hawthorn shield bug (Acanthosoma haemorrhoidale)

Here is another variation of shield bug, the Hawthorn Shield bug. I love all these bugs and the colour and texture are fantastic. This was taken with the addition of extension tubes which allows closer focusing of the subjects rather than just with a macro lens.
