Beefly close-up (Bombylius major)

If you like the look of this little fella go out in the sun as soon as possible as there are loads of them about just now (April 2015)
For those not aware the Beefly is quite harmless and the long proboscis is for dipping into deep flower heads for nectar. They look so fluffy and one of the cutest bee mimics for me.
